Room persistant and moderated ?
Hi !
Is it possible to make rooms persistant, where the members can be auto connected on, on startup ?
And make moderated, for that, only the member inviter by admin can join the room, and why not kick and ban functions ?

@PowaBanga not in current implementation but the linked code is rework of group chat concept that allows this. It is not yet merged into toxcore master.

this program is an open-source, if you want this functionality before, you should probably do it yourself, but if nobody do it, you can probably trust @uToxingInTox

you can use toxic and the new GC branch. they're not merged into msted because hey wont work over TCP yet. so if you do use UDP, you're done!
Does this issue includes proposal of public group chats, where everyone can connect? Or I should open new issue?
8 months later - still nothing new. Hope in 2018 new groups will be ready but I am not sure
As a representative or the official tox obstructionist committee. Because so many people are demanding we've decided not in upgrade groupchats at all.

@uToxingInTox If you want that to be merged, kidnap @irungentoo and lock him in a basement until TCP fix is done and new groupchats gets merged, else you can wait until 2087. :)
