Legal rules for countries

Open gil-obradors opened this issue 4 years ago • 1 comments

This Feature Request is only for inspire, or maybe take it in mind in the future... or for anyone who wants to implement.

Description

I think there may be a common pattern for placing calls on each Country. In Spain we have the National Numbering plan Having read it, I can extract some information:

  • Exists free numbers by law
  • Exists max call price on some numbers[1]
  • Exists max call time on some numbers
  • Exists initial blocked numbers whose customer must expressly enable it
  • Hide caller from dial-plan

[1] There's a problem in Spain, I can confirm that some big operators doesn't apply for this rules, exceeding max price to customer. But I think that does not exclude that Ivoz notifies you somewhere for it, or if you want to comply, block this behavior.

  • I'm willing to:

  • [ ] Implement this feature myself

  • [ ] Pay to priorize this new feature

Hi @gil-obradors

Thanks for the ideas and suggestions here. If I understand it correctly, some of these can already be attained with current implementation:

  • Free numbers: Configure these prefixes with price 0
  • Max price: The 8X mentioned in the doc still have Price/min and doesn't mention any limit. The 905 mentions a max price limit, but the price is set in the first second of the call no matter its duration, so this could also be attained with a connection fee.
  • Max time call: This is impossible with current implementation. Max call is set globally to 3h IIRC
  • Hide caller: Is this anonymous calls? I think there are some issues related to this topic

Thanks as always for your time!
