Feature-Request: Flat rate with overage charges

Description

This is a feature request to allow billing like many of the US companies. In the US many companies bill like this, you buy a user/sip/device/ext plan for example sake $10 unlimited/metered. This is a flat fee that includes XYZ minutes for the month, let's say 1500. So what you do is charge a flat rate $10 dollars and if they go over 1500 minutes for that user/sip/device you get charged $0.01 a min. So 1600 min would be $10+$1=$11.

Then you can add-on packages account wide say CA or MX or maybe a "international" package on top of this and you do the normal 411/911 and 800 number minute fees.

At the end of each month everything resets and this cycle starts over again, minutes do no rollover. So if a user had 500 min left of 1500 on the new billing cycle it would reset to 1500.

Example: (when I say user it could be sip, device, ext, etc...) 10 x Users @ $10 = $100 User 1 100 Minutes @ $0.01 = $1 User 5 500 Minutes @ $0.01 = $5 (you could also combine these as one line item or make it a minute "package") 800 Number = $1 800 Number Minutes 400 @ 0.02 = $8 Account International Package 500 min = $20 Taxes Taxes Taxes = $20 Total = $155

I'm just stretching things out to try to cover some bases

  • So the fraud/limit controls would be things like
  • User minutes used can they go over the limit set 1500 each? This is really needed if your pricing is per user and you want to keep them from using a user a sip trunk and just buying users to increase the pool when in reality it's not how many users they have.
  • Ability to set the limit account wide.
  • Ability to set a max invoice amount for the account.

  • I'm willing to:

  • [X] Help Implement this feature myself

  • [X] Pay beer money to prioritize this new feature

Additional Information

Would be happy to clarify anything and hope to see this kind of thing in the future.
