Feature request: route tag for vpbx users
Hi, I have an existing sip service for the customers. I want to use ivozprovider to give vpbx service to those customers. The problem is that i need a separate sip registration for each of my customer to the existing system (biling wise) to place outbound calls . For now this is only possible if i create a separate brand for each of the customers and create a provider with the appropriate credentials. In that way i would have a lot of different sip domains, which i want to avoid. My question is is it possible to modify the system in that way that i can have separate registrations on one brand and then use route tag vrom vpbx to pick appropriate sip trunk for outbound calling?
Hi @hyperbaba
Since 2.11 this feature has become a bit harder because we implemented #1005 that allows vPBX clients to use prefixes to change there outgoingDDI. So, if we implement Routing Tags, vPBX will be able to use two different prefixes so we must decide the order or preference, if one of them is ignored if the other one matches or what other logic will be implemented.
Right now, vPBX can not choose the OutgoingRouting that will be used, that is something limited to Retail and Wholesale clients.
