Balance Not Showing Up
Hi, This is the first time I am logging in after the forced wallet update a couple of months back that required everyone to "upgrade".
I updated to 2.5.4 but when I log in I cannot see my balance or my history. Can someone tell me why that is?
Did you reclaim already your balance in the past? If not read post about reclaiming. After reclaiming, press multiple times on attach to tangle till you see your old balance again. That worked for me.
So, it's been a long time since I last opened my wallet to check my balance. I did today, surprised to find the balance of zero! I am positive nobody has had access to my wallet and that I have made no transfers. I tried using the reclaim tool, but that did not work. Now I have two different seeds, but I don't know if that even matters. Anyway, I thought that perhaps I should upgrade my wallet like the last time I had an issue. However, I don't know exactly how to do that. I went to the IOTA website and saw a new wallet and tried to install it, but got stuck when it asked me for a key. My current wallet is version 2.5.6. Any advise on how to recover my tokens would be much appreciated!

However, I already have a seed (now 2 actually), but when I try either of them, Trinity wallet asks me for a KEY?
I am using a windows 7 laptop. It is asking me for a key after I give it my SEED. How do I generate a Key?
