Prerequisites

If you are not suggesting a feature, you must be able to check all of the following (place an x inside the brackets to check the box). If you cannot check all of the boxes, this issue should not be reported on GitHub as it is not a bug:

Description

Sign the installer to prevent skepticism and improve trust.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Download installer
  2. Run it
  3. Be prompted with this: image

Expected behavior: The warning shouldn't show up if signed.

Actual behavior: The installer isn't signed so the warning is showed.

Versions

Windows 10 Version 1709 Build 16299.192 IOTA Wallet 2.5.7

Hi, I heard they will begin signing the releases soon now that they are legally registered in Germany

@wonkytonky That's not really the point, an "average" user won't know how to build the wallet from source.

on 01/10/18 i had transferred from binance to below 239.36 iotas JRUTEBCGMPCDNIFQ9HOGH9EECLKNARBFSZMGMCLGZXXQCUBEYBBCPIGKKUMTEVYBLEEB99VNC9KXXHR9CR9YOKWKLD

it showed under my balance; on 01/12, wanted to transfer more, but balance was 0, funds were transferred to some address I had no idea what that was; was trying since then generate new address, tangle it, etc

couple days ago history was gone, address it went to from above nowhere to be found; balance is 0...

generated new addresses, but not sure if that'll help ...

what to do?

@legsh71 Please use discord or Reddit. Github is not a place to post these kinds of issues especially not in another issue that has nothing to do with yours.
