Firebase stripe extension Error creating secrets
I have my firebase stripe extension working properly in production this past few days. Yesterday, upon checking the app, it does not work anymore whenever i click subscribe. I check the firebase firestore and the necessary data are not being created. i check the firebase stripe extension configuration and it seems that the secret keys are misconfigured as im the only one working on this.
I tried copying the secret keys but every time i click 'create secret', it throw the error 'there was an error fetching your secrets'
i already tried uninstalling and reinstalling firebase stripe extension and this always appear and could not move forward
I was facing the same issue, don't know if it will help you are not but here me out.
In my case it was due to insufficient balance, actually it was 0 lol. I paid the base payment amount, which was INR 1000 for me and it started working.

I tried replicating your case but never encountered this error. Could you please share more details related to this issue? Namely, does the error persist in other extensions that use Secret Manager?
Could you please test the installation of an extension that requires a secret (i.e. this one) to see if the error happens there too?
Same error... in network it gives me "Permission 'secretmanager.secrets.get' denied for resource 'projects/survstash-f265b/secrets/firestore-stripe-payments-STRIPE_API_KEY' (or it may not exist)."
I am admin role and i use firebase where my company handles the firebase. They gave me role admin and role firebase extensions developer and Secret Manager Secret Accessor, maybe i lack some role?
status says permmission denied..
It seems like the issue might be related to your billing account. There could be an issue with your billing details, similar to an experience I had. It's worth double-checking to ensure everything is in order.
I fixed it guys. I didn't have all the roles enabled by my company, roles that extension mentions, I didn't have secret password manager sth like that and cloud-base role or sth similar, basically check exactly extention
Hey! I experienced the same, for me it was google that had downgraded my plan to sparkle but you need to have the blaze plan (billing) to make it work with the stripe extension.
