Trying to decide whether to use this library - but no ones merging PRs or fixing issues... what's happening here.

It seems like invertase have dropped the ball of some popular libs like react-native-firebase and react-query-firebase. That's sad because I've got hooked up by Google using them to provide the libs they had to provide to begin with. Now judging on the comments they are focusing on other projects around Flutter.

We've still got plans for this project, however it's just a really busy time right now and this project is purely maintained on best effort by us. I'd love to have more resources for this project but that's just not the current situation.

React Native Firebase is actively maintained.

@Ehesp Any more updates from the Invertase team? Otherwise @alex-kowalczyk @jakrim I'm tempted to fork this and pull in the latest PRs that are sitting open
