Sorry about this - there's been an annoying issue which I didn't foresee in the rework (more on the UI side). I think I've found a workaround, however it'll take a bit longer than expected to get it working again.

I have the same hardware (macbook air m1 2020), but have not any problem. Preview works in latest Chrome.

Another of my struggle with this is that I can't select another directory to preview!

Just click on Restart and select a new folder

I am not seeing any option to restart! This is what I am seeing! The Select Directory button is doing nothing. (It something for the first time when I selected a directory!)

Ah! I am selecting wrong directory. I was selecting docs dir whereas I am supposed to select the parent of the docs directory. It worked now!

I guess it is missing visuals saying that I selected a wrong directory or something. Right now, I was stuck and I had to manually clear site cache and storage from dev tools in chrome to be able to change the directory selection.

@BirjuVachhani Good. If you click on restart that will clear the cache. But Yes, we we are still improving this page.
