About gabor initialization

Hi! Firstly, very thankful for your contribution. And right now, I am doing some experiments about gabor filter. I am fresh in this filed. I want to know why you set the parameters（omega, lamda, etc.） in gabor filter in that way, what is the reason? And I want to know what is the role of param.r, param.g, param.b. And Why the gabor initialization only support 3 channels input? Thank you for your attention~
