The slack notification is showing name of the committer incorrectly

Describe the bug There are 3 contributors in our private repository, but anyone committing to the repo, always show my name as the committer.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Whenever the contributor commits to my private repository.
2. The notification on the slack shows it is committed by me.

Expected behavior The name of the actual committer should be showcased in the slack notification.
