Dear integralfx, I'm a user of your DDR4XMPEditor tool. I sincerely appreciate your efforts in developing such a useful tool, which has brought great convenience to users in terms of DDR4 memory settings.

With the continuous development of hardware technology, DDR5 memory has gradually become the mainstream in the market. DDR5 not only offers significant performance improvements but also introduces new memory configuration standards, such as X.M.P (Extreme Memory Profile) and.EXPO (AMD Extended Profiles for Overclocking). These new features allow users to more easily overclock and optimize their DDR5 memory settings.

However, the current DDR4XMPEditor tool only supports DDR4 memory and cannot meet the needs of users with DDR5 memory. Therefore, I'm kindly requesting that you consider updating this tool to support DDR5 memory, including support for DDR5's X.M.P and.EXPO settings.

If you have plans to update this tool, could you please provide an approximate timeline? If there are currently no plans for an update, could you also explain the reasons? Thank you again for your hard work, and I'm looking forward to your reply! Best regards,

TiexcN

Currently, DDR4XMPEditor only supports Ryzen DDR4. The only reason this tool came out was because the spd_check tool came out. As far as I know, it was developed by an Asus engineer so we would have to wait until a similar tool comes out (if at all).

What does DDR4XMPEditor do that changing RAM settings in BIOS doesn't?
