Editing an recurring event seems to copy it instead of editing the selected "event instance"

I have a daily event and when I edit it using edit -> when it copies the event instead of editing the event instance.

Also when edited from Google Calendar, upon saving it asks if to change the single occurence, all or currnent+future events. For the moment I do not see how this can be done by gcalcli. Can this feature be added in some future release of gcalcli?
