Making DE and WM sections less scary

I find these sections to be way more scary than they should be.

While the WM section is kind of for advanced users only, I'm thinking of making it in the following format:

* [name](https://example.com/link) - Couple of words long description. Written in X. Licensed under Y.

...where X is a programming language, and Y is a license.

As for the DE section, I literally have no idea how to make it little less scary. Would love to reduce the space it takes, but screenshots are kind of important. Would still love for the top four DEs (GNOME, KDE, LXDE, XFCE) to have more attention than the rest of the DEs. Suggestions?

@aleksandar-todorovic That would be great would help in organizing the README and making reading and viewing cleaner and clearer.

someone pls include qtile for the WM and also include Gentoo. harder than arch linux. =.=
