Grouping rare variants

Hello,

I have a dataset with both common and rare variants. Is there a way to simultaneously test them both? How exactly is the grouping data for rare variants formatted?

Do you think we should separate common variants and rare variants to different files and only perform rvtest to rare variants dataset, or we can take mixture dataset as input for rvtest? Thanks.
