I found out that the nerd font patched MesloLGS are already included in the Meslo-NF manifest, which is distributed from the official nerd fonts repository (https://github.com/ryanoasis/nerd-fonts/releases/download/v3.0.2/Meslo.zip) and can be installed by the command scoop install Meslo-NF.

I'm curious to know if there are any differences between the one from powerlevel10k and the one from official nerd fonts.

If the font from powerlevel10k has any benefits or is better in some usecases, I would be happy to add it to the repository.

However, if these fonts do not have substantial differences, my suggestion would be to install the one from the official nerd fonts.

the fork that applies the changes made is available here https://github.com/ryanoasis/nerd-fonts/compare/master...romkatv:nerd-fonts:master and building locally is explained in https://github.com/romkatv/powerlevel10k#how-was-the-recommended-font-created . i need to find software that allows comparison per symbol but the commit list suggests that it has diverged significantly in the symbols it contains.
