Apps won't open on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed

Tried to install as per the instructions on OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, but even after rebooting, the apps just won't launch at all. I reinstalled them in dev mode, at least in dev mode they will open the app icon in the dock, that's the only thing that changed (but they still won't launch). This is the output I got in dev mode running through terminal, hope it helps:

snap run icloud-for-linux.photos
(icloud-for-linux:6084): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 00:35:11.730: gtk_window_resize: assertion 'width > 0' failed
** (icloud-for-linux:6084): WARNING **: 00:35:36.810: atk-bridge: get_device_events_reply: unknown signature
snap run icloud-for-linux.notes
(icloud-for-linux:6530): Gtk-CRITICAL **: 00:36:04.701: gtk_window_resize: assertion 'width > 0' failed
** (icloud-for-linux:6530): WARNING **: 00:36:29.786: atk-bridge: get_device_events_reply: unknown signature
