Sporadic display of 0 bps samples

I’ve just installed and BitMeter 0.8.0 experimental running on my Macbook Air running on OS X 10.9.2.

Sporadically current download speed displays „0.00 B/s“ in text despite there is traffic. These 0 are replaced with correct values during next update. Update rate seems to be once per second. Graphic display does not display any dent. However, if there is a disconnect, both graphic and text show 0 B/s as expected.
