windowLayout not honored

I'm passing in options for windowLayout and nothing seems to matter. The other options are loading but it seems to be ignoring my windowLayout.

I've tried just adding main, or adding equalizer: {closed: true}. But nothing seems to happen.

I got this working as long as I'm using the latest next build. Here is a recipe that worked for me:
