S/MIME support?

Are there any plans to add S/MIME support? This is much more widely supported out of the box than GPG.

GMime has support for it as far as I know, I don't have the resources to look into it at the moment. There might be some earlier issues on this. Relevant code is in chunk and crypto, display code probably in tvextension and pageclient.

I have the same request. This shouldn't be that hard with gpgsm.
