UI missing clear pending transaction

Open Rachel-Eichenberger opened this issue 2 years ago • 6 comments

Bug Description The UI gets locked if there is a pending transaction, if this was cancelled/replaced on chain UI still says pending. The option to clear pending was lost in the new wallet profile setup

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go to app.uniswap.org and create low gas transaction
  2. cancel it through replacement
  3. UI still sees pending with no way to clear ...

Expected Behavior A clear button should appear when pending tx is shown

Additional Context image image

A work around for this is just clear cookies and cache then hard refresh (CTRL + SHIFT + R) ctrl == cmd if mac)

I encounter similar problem as well, and I even get Unable to locate Txn on etherscan after clicking Approving button.

I have the same problem. I tried to approve a token and cancelled it after a couple hours. Now It continues to say pending and I can't clear the pending or send any new transactions. Viewing the transaction in etherscan says it can't find the txnhash.

So there is no workaround for this issue?

If you have to overwrite a txn using Metamask (or whatever app), then uniswap is now permanently unusable and I have to interact directly through the contract using Etherscan?

Red alert! Can we get some eyeballs on this?

Same issue, stuck tx on Eth Goerli. It still on UNISWAP side and doesnt show up in etherscan or Metamask (anymore), so UNISWAP completely unusable now

Did anyone get clarity on this issue? It's still a problem. Cancelling txn in MM leaves UI unusable for token awaiting approval. I can use for other assets but not the approved token. I monitored network activity to see if it was pulling txn history from graphql or other but didn't see it. So it must be in state somewhere. I cleared cache and cookies but it did not fix the issue. Where is this state being held and why can we not clear it?
