We are occasionally getting the connection refused error in production. We get this error 2-3 times a day. Our app is deployed in App Engine. I couldn't find anything helpful...

It is a well known issue there is no way to sequence container startups in Kubernetes (e.g. https://github.com/kubernetes/kubernetes/issues/65502). As far as I know, this is the best solution we currently...
