Android App get laggy after switch to Library tab while many (about 1000) albums exists
The bug
When there are a lot of photo albums (about 1k albums, 8w+ assets), after clicking the Library tab, the entire app becomes very laggy. At this time, switching to other tabs, opening pictures, or even opening the settings page is very laggy too. It seems something works on background but blocks the UI thread.
BTW, I tested the ios app on an ios device with the same server, it's laggy too after the same reprod steps, but slightly better then the android one.

Reproduction steps
- There is enough albums on the immich server
- Open Android immich App
- Switch to Library tab on the bottom
- The app would become very laggy, then any operation in the app will laggy too (i.e. open photo / open setting page) ...

This is the correct observation; the sync mechanisms are using the UI thread, so the app becomes stutter. We will need to optimize these workflows

Is there any progress or plan regarding this issue? Due to this issue, mobile app are currently very laggy and almost unusable.
Looking forward to your reply.
Yes, it is a WIP
Since this is probably related via UI thread issues, rather than post another issue, I'd like to add here that once you hit a certain number of images in the default album, this happens to the main view on startup regardless of the number of albums.
On a Pixel 8, once you hit around 1300 images it takes a good 15 seconds before the app is usable due to the stuttering.
