Unable to install requirements

Trying to install the requierments for RIFE results in this error:

Hello!

Thanks for your response and for pointing to the relevant Stack Overflow thread.

Personally, I think a more robust and sustainable approach would be to use an environment management tool to explicitly define and enforce the Python version known to be compatible with the project. This helps avoid issues related to deprecations or version mismatches, especially in research projects that may not be actively maintained.

For instance, using conda to create an environment with python 3.9 (where pkgutil.ImpImporter was still available) would provide better reproducibility and save others from going down a rabbit hole when encountering similar issues. This also makes it easier for contributors and users to get started without needing to guess or backtrack the development environment.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this!
