Sure. But I must admit the development here is not exactly active, have you looked at http://github.com/go-fsnotify/fsnotify repo? If you want to do it, I have no problem merging it.

Unfortunately I can't add FSEvents functionality as I don't have an OSX machine and from what I can tell BSD doesn't have FSEvents.
