Do you have direct access to the Pi to check output of journalctl -u rauc.service? Maybe something could be in ha host logs -t rauc as well but that won't be as detailed.
Same issue, haven't been able to update past 12.3. HA yellow Rpi4 with ssd
Typically this happens when there are two Home Assistant OS installation, on the SSD and on a internal SD card as well. If that is the case, probably best is to take a full backup and download, and start with a clean install on a SD card and use the SSD as data disk.
I've been running with the same hardware for a year an never had the issue previously? Assuming there are two OS versions (sd/ssd) is this behavior something that appeared in recent versions of OS?
Also, I misspoke previously. I'm using a CM4 with NVMe on the HA Yellow. I assume the same sd/NVMe issue could occur but I can't recall if there is an SD card even in the unit. Will need to open the unit and see.
I just faced the same issue trying to update 13.2 - > 14.0. Running from ssd with nvme hat on a pi5 with no SD Card installed at all. Never happened before.
There hasn't been any activity on this issue recently. To keep our backlog manageable we have to clean old issues, as many of them have already been resolved with the latest updates. Please make sure to update to the latest Home Assistant OS version and check if that solves the issue. Let us know if that works for you by adding a comment 👍 This issue has now been marked as stale and will be closed if no further activity occurs. Thank you for your contributions.
