disclaimer: Very green, both in HA and anything coding. another disclaimer: i have seen this: Please note, this form is not for reporting bugs with running Home Assistant or its integrations. Those bugs should be reported in the Home Assistant Core issue tracker. But the button on the docs lead me directly to this form. And i do feel like what i would need is more text on that docs page. So here we are.

So, My router ''Sagemcom F@st3890V3'' was automatically detected, with the UPnP integration. The routers UPnP settings only have: on/off advert period advert ttl

Now these are frames of time, and since the VERY short documentation has no further information beyond adding it to my instance, i haven't touched either of those options.

I am also not presented with UI option for configuring anything. The initial ''configure'' button just opened a prompt for me to confirm that i wanted to add this discovered device. (With how user friendly the rest of the GUI's are, i simply assumed this meant none was necessary) Yet every restart this appears at the end of the log: WARNING (MainThread) [homeassistant.config_entries] Config entry 'Sagemcom F@st3890V3' for upnp integration not ready yet: Unable to communicate with IGD at: http://192.168.0.1:49152/32673173/gatedesc0b.xml; Retrying in background

My router is still on the factory preset ''low'' firewall wich essentially allows everything.

-Do i need to forward port 49152 to something? And would that even make sense on a local network?

-Am i expected to just know something that i should add to my configuration.yaml? if so, what?

This next bit may or may not be relevant, but a shallow rabbithole i went down, because of the ''[homeassistant.config_entries] Config entry''-bit of the log-entry: Google has not been very helpful at all, in case u were wondering xD Googling for config-entries gave me a years old video, with a no longer relevant demo. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_qpKe-FW9Yk&ab_channel=HomeAssistant
