Dragging in item does not assign catalog at all

Open WardsParadox opened this issue 11 years ago • 5 comments

So I've run the defaults command needed for it to auto grab the correct catalog mentioned in #34 however now the behavior has reached an odd level of irritation. It now doesn't assign a catalog to any type of item imported at all. screen shot 2014-09-15 at 3 18 42 pm

It seems that it no longer runs make catalogs as it was before, and it ignores the preference in resolved issue #34

I've seen this happen a few times but could never reproduce it. Does this happen every time you're importing a package?

Yup, every package or dmg imported. It's funny because it's also an expected nature because you do need to make catalogs. I think it's more of a visually rendering bug type of deal. I'll have to test to see if the pkginfo actually is storing the catalog ID and MA is just not showing it, or that MA is not adding it until you make catalogs.

Now the behavior has left. I wonder if it is just a rendering artifact. Like the visual doesn't get displayed, but it is assigned.

Thanks for the follow up.

I'll keep this issue open since this is a long-standing issue that I'd like to be able to reproduce and fix.
