Speaker note uses cached slides on Chrome

Open marcdexet-cnrs opened this issue 6 years ago • 4 comments

Hi. I'm running reavealjs with asciidoctor-js but my problem seems to be deeply linked to revealjs.

Description

With Chrome , when I'm using Speaker notes view, the showed slides are out of sync with the HTML document and are older versions of the actual slides.

Made Tests

I have cleared all the cache with DevTools, restarted my PC but problem is still here.

In Chrome private mode, (i.e. without cache) -> OK In Firefox -> OK In Explorer -> OK in Edge -> OK in Chrome -> KO The preview in Slide overview are OK

Settings

  • Chrome : Version 76.0.3809.132 (Build officiel) (64 bits)
  • Revealjs : '3.7.0'

Would you please indicate me how speaker slides previewes are built ?

I'm seeing this on occasion with Firefox 76.0.1, too.

I'm still getting this on Firefox on Linux, with the latest Reveal release. It used to happen a lot, then seemed to go away, and now it's happening again a lot since I upgraded to 5.1.0. It is a real problem. Manually clearing the entire browser cache seems to work to clear it, but that's not a long-term solution.
