0.2 FPS When face in frame

Open stationswift001 opened this issue 6 months ago • 5 comments

M2 Macbook Air/ 16GB RAM Whenever a face is in screen the framerate drops to below 1fps. When there is not a face in frame the max fps is 10. I have followed all the instructions for M2 MacOS and am running with python3.10 run.py --execution-provider coreml as my start command. Resizing the window does not help. If anyone can help me that would be great!

This is because mac doesnt have CUDA support its only for Nvidia Graphics Envirioment. I tried with my Macboock Pro M1 Max and its below 1 fps too.

I am not following the instructions for CUDA, I am following the CoreML instructions as can be seen by me running the command with the CoreML flag

Yes of course, but the problem is that with CoreML in teory is bad. The best option to run this repo is with CUDA because its rendered with the graphics card and in a Mac we can't do

Mac isn't good with AI stuffs. Don't expect too much on it on any AI applications. Yes it cost a lot but that doesn't mean it can do everything 😅
