Create new Test Cases for the TDM calculator
Overview
We need to test the functionality of the test cases provided by LADOT to determine if the application is performing as expected/desired.
Action Items
- [x] Have test cases developed by LADOT
- [x] HfLA PM pre-populate project information from Test Cases
- [x] HfLA present test case projects on the TDM website during a stakeholder meeting
- [ ] Stakeholders identify strategies associated with each test case
- [ ] Share with HfLA developers and determine that everything works as intended
- [ ] Have UX Research conduct functional user testing based on the test cases

@pmeda12 Please provide update
- Progress: "What is the current status of your project? What have you completed and what is left to do?"

@pmeda12, we have a few questions that will help our final review of this issue and the possibility of either closing this issue or creating a new issue to address technical test cases.
-
The test cases you provided are all of the test cases developed and provided by LADOT?
-
Were they available at the time of issue creation, as the document you provided was pretty new?
-
What questions were the users asked, or what questions do these test cases respond to?

- Yes, they were developed and provided by LADOT/LACP back in 2020 or 2021 for user testing 1
- Not sure when was the exact time that these test cases were created, probably sometime between issue creation date (Jul 2020) and user testing 1 UXR volunteer training date (Feb or March 2021). This document is new because it was just created for easy access and the sample cases were copied over. The original place that store these test cases is user testing 1 interview script.
- These test cases were provided to participants for filling out page 1-3 of TDM Calculator during interviews if they don't have a real project to bring to the interview. No particular question related to these test cases were asked.
Six (6) projects have been created and saved on the dev environment using the project information from the test cases provided by LADOT. Log-in details are available on 1password.
2023-03-07 stakeholders' meeting follow-up notes: We’ll provide a spreadsheet for Emily to show how the test case project information generates points for strategies identified. We’ll add columns that indicate if its over or under target, list strategies that are applied. In the case of residential or office projects we will select the residential/employee package bonus. The goal is to identify the likely TDM scenarios for a test case to reach the target points
2023-04-04 STAKEHOLDER MEETING NOTES:
Starbucks is classified as a takeout
We need to discuss next week at sat meeting the plan to create test cases in tdm calc, two sets. Ones where they choose package bonuses and one where they do not.
