Gatsby ImageCDN support?

Such a smart plugin. Would it make sense to make it possible to enable Gatsby ImageCDN? So the user select between downloading locally and utilizing the CDN?

If so I would like to give it a go!

Sure! Hopefully can give some context on this plugin, help out a bit, and learn how you add the CDN support.
