Suggestions for filtering and sorting?

I need to add filtering and sorting to my gridtab and was wondering what the best approach to this may be to reorder and have responsiveBreakpoints apply to only visible dt elements?

Should I reinitialize the whole gridtab? How should I get gridtab to ignore any hidden dt elements.
