Codelab for Deep Linking needs to be redone and updated

Could the codelab instructions be updated, please?

Not only the files do no match the names in the instruction, but the code has a lot of outdated parts to it, making it difficult to fix and run it. I'm having hard time with running the sample app, having issues with the dependencies in the gradle. It's failing to resolve dependencies after complaining about caching the dependencies.
