I mean, you could write your own website / app what would display mdl files from any folder. But you should write by your own this functions.

Suppose, rewrite? Don't fork source-engine-model-loader. This is tool for get some meta (or) data about model (mdl etc files). What you want is tool what use source-engine-model-loader to view models.
