zig 0.14 is out and i would appreciate an update

i also want to point out that zig's linksystemlibrary function does not work properly on solus, it fails to detect the system libraries

I'm not sure that ghostty has been updated for 0.14 yet.

Yes, ghostty has not been updated to Zig 0.14 yet, but I assume the next release will do. I'd say update Zig to 0.14 together with the next ghostty release.

A little more context re. Ghostty: they just released 1.1.3 today with a few GTK bug fixes. Along with that, they explicitly announced that the next release (1.2.0) will require zig 0.14.

Feel free to update Ghostty then, and I'll update Zig when the Ghostty release that requires Zig 0.14 comes.

ghostty 1.2.0 came out today. it uses zig 0.14.1. Although 0.15.1 has been released.
