Is this still a problem @brent111 ?
Yes. Annoying but there are worse things. Thank you for following up.
For the record I rm'd & re-it'd all libre base/common elements. No change.
A forum user suggested trashing all /home and /root folders of Libre and purge the system. I was not comfortable trying that but I can.

Lets not do that.
I am having trouble reproducing the bug, I will tell you if I found anything. Cheers!
Is the reason you are having trouble reproducing the bug is because you are enabling the use of JRE?
Things I try to reproduce it:
- Enable/disable "Use java runtime environment"
- Install/uninstall
openjdk-11,openjdk-17, oropenjdk-21 - Run it via terminal or desktop
- Gnome/Budgie/Plasma/Xfce
So far , couldn't found anything.

Will try that stuff and get back.
Since no one can Solve this, I caved in and installed JDK22 to get rid of that annoying popup. Will mark Solved.
