Ok great. I’m so glad there’s a workaround. We can grab a new neovim version when we next release.
It was my understanding that our build is now vanilla neovim but perhaps we should explicitly set a larger stack size if it is not.
We had to mode to a different API. I’ll take a look and see if there’s a way to do the smooth scroll without cursor.
this also works fine for me - have you tried clearing things from .vimrc etc to see if it's a plugin issue?

Are there any messages (:messages) sometimes issues with startup files don't show obviously
Please have a try with the newer snapshots which have a newer neovim and can point at external neovim also.
In advanced settings you can paste the path of the binary
