Expected Behavior

Expected to show geode button at the bottom of the screen (image taken from youtube vid)

Actual Behavior

The installer file managed to create the files in the Geometry Dash folder, the game didn't crash, but the button did not show up (screenshot)

Steps to Reproduce

1. Ran the installer executable
2. Followed installer instructions, selected correct folder in which GeometryDash.exe is in
3. Ran Geometry Dash from Steam

Additional Information

WINEDLLOVERRIDES="XInput9_1_0=n,b" %command% does NOT work for MacOS

you'll have to setup dll overrides in winecfg instead, because WINEDLLOVERRIDES launch option doesn't work from steam that is running on wine

alright, i tried using winecfg/libraries and added XInput9_1_0.dll as a dll override, but it seems to give the same error message "There is no Windows program configured to open this file."

btw i'm using crossover to run gd so i can remove the fps cap, my monitor is 144hz

I'm on whiskey and I, too am, facing this problem.. I swapped to the windows one instead of mac for the same reason as you, to play on 360 fps on a 60 hertz monitor

im on crossover and facing the same problem. putting in WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xinput9_1_0=n,b" %command% on steam gives me that "no windows program configured to open this file type" error, and using winecfg to add the override instead of on steam makes it launch properly but without the geode button. using both winecfg and steam launch options at the same time also brings me that previously mentioned error.

im currently having the same problem and ive reinstalled geode about 3 times now and to no avail, it still no work
