Whenever I open the "download" tab in the game it says "updating local cache" but stays stuck like that and I can't look at any mods

It never loads I waited for like half an hour

Steps to Reproduce

I didn't do anything really I just clicked on the "download" tab and this shows up

Additional Information

When I go to the "download" tab three loading screens pop up, a "downloading" load then an "extracting" load (which both go smoothly) then the "updating local cache" load where it gets stuck.
