So far I've only used versions released to npm. How can I test development versions?

Sadly not yet. A solution is still required though, I simply didn't have any time. I'll try to get back to it next week.

Planning to move from Vue 2 to Vue 3

Would like to see this. Maybe with the help of https://github.com/vueuse/vue-demi which promises to build libs that are compatible with both vue 2 and 3 simultaneously.
