The Waveshare PCIe to M.2 E Key Adapter with PoE+ HAT is very similar to the non-PoE version, and can accept E or A+E Key M.2 PCIe cards (commonly used for WiFi or other wireless applications).

It includes a USB adapter which plugs into one of the Pi 5's USB 2.0 ports, and has connectors to break out the M.2 card's MHF4 connectors to the U.FL connectors on the board, which are then ported to SMA connectors for external antenna connections.

See https://github.com/geerlingguy/raspberry-pi-pcie-devices/issues/709 for much more discussion on both of these cards.

In this issue I'll test the PoE functionality and see how well it works.
