Test feasibility of MXM GPUs
Hi,
While rummaging trough old salvaged parts I stumbled upon these two (first generation) MXM GPUs:
https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/mobility-radeon-hd-2600.c1619

https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/mobility-radeon-x1400.c160

The First Gen of MXM is easily available (reuploaded here), while I'm having trouble finding the documentation for MXM 3.0 (second generation, lol) and later. On the other side MXM 3.0/3.1 connectors are readily available on Mouser and Digikey, while the first gen MXM connectors are nowhere to be found. Edit: I've found first gen MXM connectors, but only on aliexpress, so it doesn't really count as a reputable source.
A ton of GPUs, modern and not use this "open" standard, so it may actually may be worth a shot. After taking a look at the standard it seems like a nice companion to the CM4 due to the low-ish TDP of some cards and overall comparable size. The best feature is that all the video IO is on the connector itself, so an eventual carrier board can break out the IO for both the GPU and the CM4.
I am willing to donate one of the 2 cards (preferably the Radeon x1400, due to not having rust on it) to the cause, no strings attached :P
P.S. I'll update the post with better pictures this weekend if there is some solar light. Also if I find the 3.0/3.1 specs I'll share them, since I've seen the pinout floating around on the net, so guess they are somewhere.
