Unable to install High Sierra

Open Jerakin opened this issue 7 years ago • 2 comments

Been trying to get an image of High Sierra running on my MacBook Pro running 12.13.3 a few days now.

First time I follwed the instructions in the README.md but always got this error. screen shot 2018-09-12 at 11 06 44

I then tried what this ticket says https://github.com/geerlingguy/macos-virtualbox-vm/issues/52 . But then I get instead of the above error it exists prematurely and restarts. screen shot 2018-09-12 at 14 25 41 screen shot 2018-09-12 at 14 26 08

I have after this tried to follow the README again but get always get the second error now.

Tried with this again today and still no luck. I noticed that the disc wasn't empty after the installation process so I tried to unmount the CD but got screen shot 2018-11-05 at 12 00 45

Since you see an FS1 on this screen, I would assume, that the last information from the Troubleshooting & Improvements "If for High Sierra you encounter boot / EFI problems..." could help you?

I'm also seeing difficulties installing High Sierra, will open a separat issue, since it seems unrelated to yours.
