The proposed extra metadata collection is very underspecified. Extensive examples should be provided since you are expecting 1000+ people to classify their own EIPs based.

If we will have required metadata here then we would also use that to sort EIPs. For example, there's another pull request here for updating the website to improve filtering....

So this proposed mandatory field would not have had an impact on most of the existing publications. And, if implemented, it would require every new publisher to understand and implement...

So far I'm seeing plenty of normal application standards.
