@friendlyJLee I'm not sure if you're still interested in this but I tried the dumper out today and I ran into the same problem. For me it just says "Unable to attach to the pid specified" too, which makes me assume that the ptrace attach failed. Then again, I'm trying to dump the memory of a mobile game which might be protected in some way so that ptrace does not work. I don't really know much about Android internals and how that would work.
