Shopify Sync - "Create Order", "Add Custom Item"

Is there any way to get Shopify order custom line items to sync with ERPNext? If I have Shopify order and need to add a custom item to the order it will not sync with ERPNext. Do I need to define these first in Shopify before entering order to have them sync? I'm guessing that there is no SKU or ITEM ID so be the reason not syncing?
