Add OSD?
I could use the option that would display the OSD - We have a verity of platforms used for Search and Rescue and a display that shows the GPS coordinates would take pressure off the pilot and help speed thing up for ground crews.

We don't have access to OSD information through USB yet. I'll let this issue open though, as it have been asked several time, and I think it would make a neat feature (if possible).

Not sure it is related. I don't think that rooting your googles would modifies the way it transmit video over USB. You might need to double check with the guys from WTFOS, if they did change something in there, but I haven't heard anything about it :)
@LuckyFPV make sure you've got auto temp control disabled or that you're armed before plugging in Digiview.
wtfos shouldn't affect video out streaming, although we have had a handful of reports of people with issues. Failed to reproduce those yet.
If you're consistently having problems with wtfos combined with video out please drop by our Discord at https://discord.com/invite/3rpnBBJKtU and give me (Joonas) a ping so we can troubleshoot this together.
@jlucidar btw with msp-osd we could now add the ability to fetch the live osd stream alongside with video out. Would need some coordination with the package devs though.
