installation error

when I run basic.sh, the VM hangs. Did I do something wrong? Screenshot from 2020-07-09 22-44-05

What CPU and distro?

Mint 18.3 Intel i7 I got it to work on my fresh Manjaro partition, so I guess something is out of date on the Mint side. I'll just use it on my Manjaro partition from here on. thanks for the cool software!

If you upgraded the cpu cores, which should always be two (unless you are emulating a different cpu), then downgrade to two, and see if it works.

same for me, I didn't update the CPU cores.
