Raise upon Clicking Tray Icon

Open kevincox opened this issue 13 years ago • 3 comments

Currently, if you click on the tray icon when thunderbird is non-active it hides that window. It would be nice to have a setting that would raise inactive windows instead of hiding them. (If they are active they get hidden as normal).

Hi, could you precise what you mean by "when thunderbird is non-active". Do you know the new (v0.4.2) icon middle-click feature ? It raises the last registered window if all windows are shown.

I'm not on my computer but what I am referring to is if the window is hidden or on another desktop the first click of the icon "minimizes" thunderbird and only on the second click does it actually raise.

I'll try out the middle click when I get home.

The middle click works. It would be nice though if there was a setting to have the regular click detect if the window is showing and if not raise (like the current middle click).
